Barese

12-24 days micro, 25-30 days baby, 40-50 days full size. This variety of chard matures exceptionally early and produces large yields.  The leaves are glossy and dark green, with slightly curled edges.  Intended to be harvested when the leaves are at the “baby” stage, but can be left to grow-out as well.  Barese is especially good when used fresh in salads, or lightly steamed.
